Tonight's Region 2 Breakout Session provided an up-close-and-personal view of IEEE in action. From stories of chapter and section activities to a personal introduction of each Region 2 attendee, we all learned a great deal about each other in a relaxed and social environment. It was tremendously pleasing to hear the stories and reports of what really goes on at ground level--a perspective that is often lost when in the larger group sessions. Personally I enjoyed the opportunity to network with people that live nearby to my own home. The region breakout sessions are an important and much-needed component of the Annual Meeting!
