Region 6 Breakout Session

Eremita de Miranda was the moderator of the session. The session was mainly spent on PACE chairs from each section reporting on current PACE projects. The region director, Leonard Bond, said a few words of encouragement and although there are projects happening, Eremita tried to find out why sections were having trouble doing PACE projects. We were told that the region has money for PACE projects so please submit the applications for it. We are a large region therefore we should have a lot of projects.

    So, was there a common thread as to why the Region 6 was lacking in PACE projects?

    It was defined to one issue. It was determined that the larger sections were doing a bunch of projects but the smaller sections were struggling. The struggle was mainly due to lack of volunteers and possibly ideas.
